Still very excited

I am so excited!! I just can't believe I am going to be a home owner!! I couldn't sleep last night for thinking about furniture ideas and paint!! I am want to buy some new appliances that are black to really dressw up the kitchen and I want to paint the dining room a shade of blue. I have so many ideas. I am just so excited!!!

I got my house!!!!!!!!!

Offer

So, I made an offer on the house. The suspense is absolutely killing me. Two other people have also made offers on the house. I hope and pray they accept my offer. I really like that house. It is so cute!! I have already starting picking out paint colors.

So, the house I found is sooooo cute!! I love, love, love, love it. The price is great and it really just needs a few things fixed....very small things, like a new bathtub and pedestal sink in the bathroom. Really it just needs some TLC. It is a great house. Check it out here.

Ugh Thursday

So, I have officially begun my house search again. I will continue to search even while I am car less. As soon as my car business is settled, then I can begin looking for a car.
I have already begun thinking about my themes and units for next year. I like to have all that planned so that I know what I need to work on for the summer. I am also getting a student teacher next year. I am excited about this. This will be my first student teacher. In addition to a student teacher, I am also going to have to help the new first grade teacher. I hope that whoever it is will be someone as fun to work with as Rita.
I only have my statistics take home final and one more paper to finish for the semester!! Yippee!!

Hangover Monday

I have a tired hangover today. I got such little sleep this weekend that my eyes are dry and red and I have one of those really tired headaches. I should have called in sick, but I always feel guilty because we never have any subs. I will definitely be taking a nap when I get home from work today. The good news is that I only have one more paper and a take home final from statistics and my semester will be over. I am so ready!!
So, I am in a quandary about what to do over my house and car situation. I am trying to decide if I should buy a house quickly before the school year is over, or if I should move in with the Walner's and wait to buy a house. Now that I don't have a car anymore, I think my loan process will go much smoother. At some point I will have to buy a car and I am not sure if I should do that now or wait until I buy a house. Please help...any advice is well received.

Almost Done

This semester is almost over and I am so excited. I have had so much work to do this week, it has been crazy. Plus, I have been trying to get all my paperwork for my car taken care of. My car has been totaled, which is a good thing because of the amount of damage. But the amount of paperwork required of me is crazy. Since I have gap insurance also, I have additional amounts of paperwork to get. I am not even going to be able to get all that until next week. Right now, school is my number on priority. Even though it stresses me to the max and I lose sleep over it, I would be sad if I were not pursuing this PhD. That is not to say that I won't be thrilled when I am done.
I am ready for this school year to be over. I found out yesterday that I will be teaching first grade again. I am glad to know that so I can plan for next year. I make centers and other things over the summer to get ready for the school year and I needed to know what I was going to need to have in place. I still want to teach fifth grade, one day when it is time, I will get that opportunity.
I have class all weekend, but it is the last class of the semester!! Yipee!!
Oh yeah, I won a scholarship for next year. I am proud of me!!

Hump Day

I am ready for it to be Friday!! I have so much to do. I have a huge stats project that needs to be postmarked April 9th. I have three papers, two presentations and four books to read before my next weekend of class, which is April 11. I know that seems far away, but this week is crazy with plans. Tuesday and Thursday we have conferences until 6, then kickboxing at 8 which puts me home around 9:20ish then, it is off to bed. Today I have to go to the collision repair shop and walk around my car with the people ther, then I have a hair appointment at 4:15, then I need to spin, read a little then off to bed. Wake up and repeat Tuesday. Friday I have dinner with my friend Beth. It is a crazy busy week. Today I get to go to Chris Nikel and look at my car with the repair people. I hope they will total it.
